Ropali joins Motarax

Classic motorcycle riders and tattoo artists united for a cause as they participated in the recently concluded Motarax event at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center last February 22.

The main purpose of the event was to raise funds for the municipality’s home care facility. The message of the event, aside from sporting creativity, was the theme of bayanihan of Malolos. It was to convey that although times have changed, the culture of helping one another in times of need is something they cannot change.

Ropali Motorcycles was able to exhibit their Japanese branded motorcycles; a Norton unit, care of Ropali Classics, and the innovative e-trike from the DECC.

Arthur Nicodemus, the president of Exkomunikados, a group of classic motorcycle riders, explained that Ropali was chosen to be an exhibitor because of their classic motorcycles. “Doon kami kumo-connect sa aspect na ‘yon kaya naisip naming lapitan. (We connect in that expect, that is why we chose to invite them.)” “Keep on being creative. [And] siyempre, brotherhood ng troops ng motorcycle enthusiasts [ang importante]. (Keep on being creative. And of course, the brotherhood of the troops of motorcycle enthusiasts is also important.)” When asked if they plan to bring the exposition to the other parts of the country, Arthur answered with: “Walang problema diyan. Hopefully next year, lumawak pa. (That’s not a problem. Hopefully next year, we’d expand.)”
